I always like to make sure that my couples are prepared for their engagement sessions. Picking out outfits can be a daunting task! However, there are definitely some couples who are pros at picking out outfits and rocking their sessions! Megan and Justin are one of those couples! (I told Megan I felt silly sending her my Fall/Winter Style Guide because I had a feeling they wouldn’t need it!) I loved all of Megan and Justin’s outfits, but I am especially in love with her formal red dress. It gives their photos a pop of color!

I’m based out of Houston, but I love going anywhere beautiful to take photos! When I went to high school in Katy, I took photos in Old Katy pretty frequently. It was fun going back there for a change of pace! We started Megan and Justin’s session in downtown Old Katy where there are cute store fronts and brick walls to take photos in front of. Megan and Justin wanted more of a vintage vibe, so Megan and I brainstormed a few places. I’m glad we both suggested going to Old Katy! (After all, that is where I got my nickname- Kati from Katy!) Then, we ventured to a park where I was surprised to see that leaves were changing colors in the middle of December. It created the perfect backdrop for cozy engagement photos. (Though I wish I could have orange leaves year round!)

Megan and Justin are getting married at Agave Real in Katy next June. I can’t believe we are already past the six month mark!
