McKinney Falls Engagement | Ashley + Cole

Sometimes it can be hard to choose the best spot for engagement photos, but I’m so glad we ended up roadtripping to McKinney Falls in Austin! During Ashley and Cole’s initial consultation, we were looking at a wedding album that had an engagement photo from Austin. Ashley loved the location, so it was a done deal! I always love going to new locations, especially ones that are out of Houston. A change of pace can really fuel creativity!

Ashley and Cole are the sweetest, and they rocked their engagement session despite the random cold front that day! Ashley was such a trooper in her dress- we were not expecting a high of 58 in March! (Also, I am obsessed with her dress! It was the perfect vibe for the park!) During their session, we hiked around the park and looked for unique spots. We ended up finding a fallen tree in a creek, and Ashley and Cole climbed right on without hesitating! The whole session was so much fun, and it was totally worth the drive!

Ashley and Cole are tying the knot in 2018, and I can’t wait to be a part of their wedding day! Their wedding is almost exactly a year from today!
