WEDDING AT SPRINGS EVENT VENUE

Kendyl and Kevin are officially Mr. and Mrs. Gilliland! We loved photographing their wedding at The Springs Event Venue last Sunday. These two met when they were lifeguards in high school, and it’s the sweetest story! I’m lucky enough to have met Kendyl in high school as well when we were on the drill team together. Needless to say, it was such an honor being a part of her wedding journey and getting to celebrate with her in this exciting season of life!

The day started with the girls getting their hair and makeup done in the bridal suite as they listened to the Mamma Mia soundtrack. Meanwhile, Loose Ends Event Design was setting up the last few wedding details and pinning boutonnieres on the guys. After some bridal party photos around the venue, it was time for Kendyl to walk down the aisle with her dad. He joked before the ceremony that he would have to hand her off quickly before he got too emotional- haha!

OUTDOOR SPRING CEREMONY

The ceremony took place outside under a beautiful floral arch, and the sun came out just in time. Kendyl and Kevin both had the biggest smiles on their faces during the ceremony as they said their vows and exchanged rings. Kendyl’s veil was softly blowing in the wind during the ceremony, and it was so magical! Everyone cheered as they were announced as the new Mr. and Mrs. Gilliland!

After the ceremony, we took bride and groom photos of the newlyweds, and I have to say- I just love the stunning fountain at The Springs! It was so sweet watching Kendyl and Kevin giggle together during their portraits, and the grand finale photo was Kevin picking up his bride and carrying her towards the reception.

Shortly after, they made their Grand Entrance down the staircase into the reception where they shared their First Dance. Then, the Father of the Bride, Maid of Honor, and Best Man shared their toasts before Kendyl and Kevin danced with their parents. It was such a special night filled with dancing, lots of laughter, and a sparkler exit. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Gilliland- we are so happy to have celebrated your marriage with you!!
