Houston Engagement | Casey + Nick

bold & bright Houston engagement session

I was excited to take Casey and Nick’s engagement session because they were referred to me by Casey’s cousin, Carley! I took Carley’s engagement session at Royalty Pecan Farms in College Station about a year ago. (Unfortunately I don’t have her session on my blog anymore since I updated my site, but her and Lance are ADORABLE!) I could have guessed that Carley and Casey are related because they are both SO stylish! Casey paired a white top with a bold blue necklace and a white dress with a pink blazer. We laughed about how easy it is to get carried away with buying cute “white outfits” when you get engaged. My closet is currently filled with white dresses that I wore to my bridal showers, rehearsal dinner, etc.

a golden glow

As you might have noticed, I’m a tad obsessed with getting a “golden glow” in my photos. It’s really about the time of day and the location! I was excited when Casey chose this park because I know it’s gorgeous right around sunset. You can see the sunset peeking through the trees in the last few photos. The colors of Casey and Nick’s second outfit look extra vibrant paired with the sunset. I love it!!

Casey and Nick are getting married next summer in their home town of San Antonio. I’m so glad I was able to capture their Houston engagement and be a part of this special time for them!
